The circular, rotating blade easily powers through materials up to 1/4 inch thick while the AutoSharp blade system keeps the blade sharp for repetitive use. The Power Cutter uses an integrated 3.6-volt lithium-ion battery which can hold a charge up to 18 months, so it's always ready when it's needed. Weighing less than a pound with an ergonomic soft-grip handle, the power cutter is easy to handle and eliminates the fatigue experienced with standard scissors, making it ideal for people with arthritis.

The Power Cutter also incorporates a blade guard to minimize the possibility of accidents, unlike traditional utility knives that can be dangerous. The Power Cutter is incredibly versatile; cutting carpeting and carpet padding, vinyl flooring, wallpaper, and contact paper with ease. The Power Cutter is also perfect for a number of fabrics including leather, suede, canvas, and denim. For arts and crafts, you can cut through card stock, poster, and foam board, even felt.
